Sobha Realty to DMCC is the one-stop hop most JLT commuters use to switch from the Sheikh Zayed Road side of the cluster to the JBR-facing tram interchange. AED 3 on a Silver Nol card, five minutes on the train. Taxi is faster off-peak but the Metro-plus-tram single tap is unbeatable on cost.
DMCC station has a covered, air-conditioned skybridge to the Dubai Tram at Jumeirah Lakes Towers (T3), the fastest route from the Red Line into JBR and the Marina towers.

No. The Red Line runs straight from Sobha Realty (R36) one stop south to DMCC (R37). One train, one stop, no platform change.
The trip stays inside one fare zone (Zone 2). On a Silver Nol card it is AED 3, on a Gold Nol card AED 6, on a Blue personal card AED 3, and on a single-use Red ticket AED 4 plus AED 2 to buy the ticket itself.
About five minutes from platform to platform, including the wait. The skybridge from DMCC to Almas Tower or the Dubai Tram is under two minutes on top of that.
Both work. Sobha Realty has a longer footbridge across Sheikh Zayed Road to the tram at Dubai Marina (T5). DMCC has the shorter, fully covered skybridge to the tram at Jumeirah Lakes Towers (T3), and the tram is one stop further from JBR from there. Most regular riders prefer DMCC because the walk is faster and the platform is less crowded.

The Metro is still cheaper at AED 3 against a taxi at AED 13 to 19 for eight to twelve minutes. A taxi door-to-door can be faster off-peak because the walk out of the station and into the destination building takes about as long as the train itself. At peak the Metro is more reliable.

The last southbound train from Sobha Realty towards Expo 2020 runs about 11:10 PM Sunday to Thursday and just past midnight on Friday. The northbound direction stays open until around 12:10 AM every day.
